Adsorption, kinetics, and thermodynamic studies of cacao husk extracts in waterless sustainable dyeing of cotton fabric

چکیده

Natural dyes exhibit a low dye uptake when cellulosic fiber dyeing is carried out using conventional water bath process. In this research, cotton fabric was exhaust dyed in microemulsion dyebath containing cacao husk extracts and decamethylcyclopentasiloxane (D5) to achieve higher exhaustion percentage on fiber, which an environmentally beneficial The adsorption behavior of extract D5 system investigated under conditions varied mass (1–8% o.w.f), time (5–500 min), temperatures (333–373 K). Kinetic modelling dye/D5 studied by fitting experimental data pseudo first-order second-order kinetics, the intraparticle diffusion model. Early results indicated that kinetic model followed Langmuir, Freundlich, Dubinin–Radushkevich isotherm models were employed analyze isotherms, showed process fit well with Langmuir compared Freundlich isotherm. mean energy from implied onto accompanied physical values standard enthalpy (ΔH° > 0), entropy (ΔS° Gibbs free (ΔG° < 0) strongly reflected thermodynamically favourable feasible. Thus, waterless natural explores sustainable technology percentage.

1. to determine whether difference in birth body mass influenced growth performance in pipistrellus kuhlii we studied a total of 12 captive-born neonates. bats were assigned to two body mass groups: light birth body mass (lbw: 0.89 ± 0.05, n=8) and heavy birth body mass (hbw: 1.35 ± 0.08, n=4). heavier body mass at birth was associated with rapid postnatal growth (body mass and forearm length) ...

Dyeing of Cotton Fabric with Natural Dyes Improved by Mordants and Plasma Treatment

Nowadays, there is a great tendency for eco-dyeing and finishing of textiles with natural products. several natural dyes have been used for dyeing of protein fibers but a low number have the ability to dye cotton fiber because of low affinity of cellulose to the natural dyes. In this study madder and weld natural colorants were used to dye cotton fabric premordanted with three metallic salt...

Adsorption of Ni2+ Ions onto NaX and NaY Zeolites: Equilibrium, Kinetics, Intra Crystalline Diffusion, and Thermodynamic Studies

This paper focuses on intra crystalline diffusion of Ni2+ ions onto NaX and NaY zeolites. The zeolites are obtained by the hydrothermal synthesis method. The samples were characterized by several techniques: X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) coupled with Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS) and InfraRed Spectroscopy (FT-IR). Physical parameters such as p...
